Klezmer is a festive instrumental music that was once played in Eastern European Jewish communities to accompany weddings or joyful religious festivities. A clarinet, a violin, a guitar, percussions and a double bass for a Klezmer music with modern touches drawn from jazz, classical and folklore. The concert program, at the heart of the artistic project of the young team of professional musicians from Strasbourg, is historically and mostly composed of creations and arrangements by Benjamin Mayer. Other works created by or with the other members of the quintet are also included.
