Concert of the vocal ensemble Filigrane
"Il y a longtemps que je t'aime...", this sentence taken from the famous Field of the Clear Fountain, sums up this program of French songs that takes us on a journey through the loves and reveries of our composers from the Renaissance to Edith Piaf. The program brings together essential songs such as Le Madrigal and Les Djinns by Fauré, La Romance du Soir by Saint-Säens, Ronde by Ravel, Margoton by Poulenc, but also arrangements of songs that everyone hummed one day in the shower, including À bicyclette, Mon amant de St Jean, La Foule by Edith Piaf and many other surprises. The vocal ensemble Filigrane is a choir from Strasbourg created and directed by Jean-Philippe Billmann, bringing together 24 experienced singers who are passionate about choral singing and who wish to perform a quality repertoire. The accompaniment will be provided by the talented pianist Marie Stoecklé.
