STRASBOURG BRASS QUINTET invites Corinne HEGENHAUSER, piano The Strasbourg Brass Quintet is a group of five professional musicians united by their passion for chamber music. Pierre Wenisch and Marc Hegenhauser, trumpets, Jean-Claude Eglin and Francis Baur, trombones, have been joined by Winder Arteaga, a promising young horn player. By inviting pianist Corinne Hegenhauser, the ensemble invites you to discover new musical horizons in the rare and delicate combination of brass and piano. The program, featuring works by Fauré, Handel and Rutter, culminates in a transcription of the 2nd movement of Ravel's Concerto in G. The spirit of Christmas will of course be present, with traditional European and American melodies.
