On the occasion of its 550th anniversary, Obernai's municipal archives invite you to discover the history of the largest bell in Obernai's belfry: from ancestral casting techniques to the symbolism of this seemingly simple instrument, the history of the 1474 bell has been traced in part thanks to the municipal accounts kept in the town's archives. Self-guided tours from Friday September 13 to Sunday September 21, and guided tours as part of European Heritage Day on Saturday September 21 at 10am and 3pm.
