Every year, the Confrérie des Rieslinger de Scherwiller invites tourists to its traditional presentation of the wines, "Chapter of the Vine in Fecund Flower" from 6.30 pm onwards at the Place de la Libération (the multi-purpose hall A. Haag is used in case of bad weather). The wines of the region are presented for tasting and commented on by winegrowers, professionals from the wine world and a Master Restorer. The Rieslinger Brotherhood also takes advantage of this evening to induct new members into their Association. During the tasting, the Association d'animations honours tourists who are loyal to Châtenois and Scherwiller. Afterwards, the Harmonie Ste Jeanne d'Arc sets the mood with lively tunes on the Place de la Libération. A refreshment stand and a small restaurant complete the entertainment.
