Jazz concert : Sletto's Big Band

" Your feet start moving by themselves ? Don't panic, it's only the greatest Central Alsace big band playing ! "

Created in 1978, the ever-dashing Sletto's Big Band is celebrating its 45th anniversary... To mark this anniversary, the great jazz ensemble of Central Alsace, whose mission has always been to perpetuate the soul of the great jazz bands of the swing era, is offering two gala concerts. The first part of these concerts will highlight the various soloists of the orchestra in their favorite jazz standards. The second part will pay tribute to Canadian jazz, pop and soul singer Michael Bublé. At 48 years old, Michael Bublé leads a big band and a string ensemble with arrangements of rare effectiveness. He is considered one of the main heirs of the vocal jazz singers of the 1950s and 1960s and is frequently compared to crooners such as Frank Sinatra or Dean Martin. For this Tribute to Michael Bublé, Sletto's Big Band invites the singer Yannick Eichert and "Les Cordes du Conservatoire de Colmar". The orchestra, under the direction of Raymond Halbeisen, will play the original arrangements of Michael Bublé. An anniversary concert not to be missed! Reservations are recommended...
