Show: Vivarium based on "Gros-Câlins" by Romain Gary

"Mr Cousin - that's his name - is a shy statistician. To make up for his lack of affection, he has adopted a python and named it Gros-Câlin. His cheerful optimism is ridiculous, pathetic and above all very moving. He wants to tell his story and get it all out in the open. Having a python in the house doesn't make socialising any easier. Especially as Mr Cousin is in love with Miss Dreyfus, his office colleague.

Performed by Fred Cacheux of the Facteurs Communs company.

Based on Gros-Câlin by Romain Gary (Emile Ajar) © Mercure de France, theatre rights managed by Éditions Gallimard. With the support of the Ministère de la Culture, the Région Grand Est, the City of Strasbourg and the Eurométropole de Strasbourg.
