Visit: the Sand district during the war

New format!

The first settlements in the Sand district began to appear in the 1920s. Originally occupied mainly by market gardens, the district has evolved and changed over the decades to become the area we know today. But did you know that the Sand was deeply marked by the war, that American soldiers set up their tanks close to the houses and that the Gestapo had a foothold here? Discover this district from the darkest angle of its history.
