Exhibition: En / Quête
" Recently renovated and open to the public, La Poudrière offers this exhibition enhanced by the presence of artists and music. Notice to amateurs! "
Five spoken word artists, five personalities, five researchers, five friends sharing common adventures. A clever mix of sculptures, digital watercolours, digital photographs and organic paintings. Their quest is ongoing. For years, they have been searching for new areas of freedom. Their creative world is infinite, heterogeneous and explosive. A plunge into the heart of lines, materials and volumes. Introspection! Sometimes rich in colour, sometimes darker in black and white, their works are always disconcerting, surprising and astonishing. Their artistic approach is playful, experimental, sensitive and rooted in reality. In search of meaning, their understanding of the world is intuitive, plural and singular. All five are explorers of otherness, examining human relationships, studying the vibrations of colour, scrutinising the textures of matter, tracking down the traces of time left in their memories. This exhibition is a record of their work, in which the works speak to each other. Betty Hanns, sculptor - Patrick Jonvaux, visual artist - Sylvie Clade, painter and sculptor - Jean-Michel Bregeras, digital watercolourist - Jan Pincemaille, digital painter. The vernissage will take place on Friday at 7pm with the artists and a performance by Arléria. The closing will take place on Sunday at 5pm with music by "Duo Caméléon".
