Rabindra Goswami is universally recognized as one of the great masters of Indian classical sitar music, living in the holy city of Varanasi (Benares) in northern India. He has been a professional musician for over 40 years. He is a sought-after artist and teacher of Indian classical music, both in his beloved hometown and around the world. He will be accompanied by his most talented disciples: Hélène Philippart (flute and bansuri), Suvrat Apte (tablas) and KG Westman (sitar). Proceeds from the concert will be donated to Indian classical music schools in northern India and Nepal.
