"Wistub" is an Alsatian word meaning "wine" and "Stub", the most refined room and the only one to be heated, formerly, in the traditional houses of Alsace.You are in an authentic WISTUB located in a house dating from 1750 where WINE is served by the glass. But not only that. A very extensive menu is offered and all the wines can also be taken away.Which WINES are we talking about?The sommeliers Antje and Fabienne have chosen WINES from ALSACE representing the great diversity of the TERRITORIES of the sub-Vosgian hills.They will take you on the road of the WINES of CEPAGES or EXPRESSION of TERROIR with the wish to amaze you by their discoveries.The food list is simple but good and goes well with the wine TRIOS tasting. We "snack", we nibble, we eat, we taste, we revel. Each one composes his menu according to his desire, his hunger and sharing at the table is possible. The dish and dessert "Stub" change almost every day according to the season and is always "homemade". Weather permitting, the kougelhopf is beaten by hand, the puff pastry comes out of the oven and the "Bredalas" accompany the hot drinks and not only for Christmas.Program of the animations on the spot :3rd RUND UM in MARCH: Thursday 26th March 2020: the MUSCAT will introduce you to the terroirs: Altenberg de Bergbieten and Saering/Spiegel de Guebwiller: 2 winegrowers (one from the North, the other from the South of Alsace) will share the "Stub" animation. 4th RUND UM in APRIL: Thursday 30 April 2020: "Tanz in den Mai", the beautiful month of May invites us to dance and sing and it is the PINOTS family - white, Auxerrois, Klevener - who will take us there! 5th RUND UM in MAY : Thursday 28th May 2020 : Messire SYLVANER accompanies lady ASPARAGUS for their spring outing
