The parish church of Sainte Croix dates from 1227-1230 and the tympanum of the portal depicts the crowning of the Virgin Mary. The bell tower was heightened and dome-shaped in 1825 to allow the people of Kaysersberge to have five bells ringing. As you enter the church you will notice the Christ measuring 4.25m accompanied by the statues of the Virgin and Saint John measuring 2.60m. You will also see the altarpiece by Jean Bongart which was executed in 1518 and depicts the passion of Christ in 14 paintings.
