Drop your bags in the cosy bedroom of a boutique hotel and head for one of our recommended fine dining restaurants to enjoy a wonderful meal made from top quality local produce, enhanced by thoughtful pairing with three Grands Crus wines.
The next morning, hire an e-bike (for an additional charge) and wend your way through the vineyards to the Meyer-Krumb family estate in Sigolsheim, where your preconceptions about cheese and wine will be swiftly dispensed, and your tastebuds stimulated with white Alsace wines and delicious local cheeses (daughter Aurélie is an expert on Munster and other hard cheeses). After visiting the winery, step into the family's cosy, private wine cellar to experience a very special moment. The creative pairing of Grands Crus wines (Gewürztraminer, Riesling) and Kaysersberg Valley cheeses will surprise and delight all, from novices to experienced palates.
The wine tasting “Wine and cheese” (Duration: 1 hour 30). A meal with wine and food pairing (3-course menu: starter, main course and dessert; with 3 Grands Crus) for the traditional formula and the 'flavours' formula. Meals “Parenthèse étoilée” in a starred restaurant on request. A night, breakfast included. Booking service.
