Galtz monument

Description

The Galtz monument, also known as the "Alsatian Corcovado", is located at an altitude of 731 metres. The Galtz statute represents Christ, located between the communes of Ammerschwihr, Katzenthal and Niedermorschwihr. The statue was erected in the 1930s to pay tribute to the Alsatian soldiers who fell in the First World War.
