Parenthèse Vigneronne of the Fascinating Week-end - Cheeses and Grands Crus
" An original combination of cheeses and Grand Crus from the Kaysersberg Valley to be discovered in the MEYER-KRUMB family's private wine cellar. "
Want to surprise your taste buds? This winegrower's interlude will win you over!
Which products better characterize France if not wine and cheese?
Balancing preconceived ideas, the pairing of the latter is not reserved for red wines. At Sigolsheim (Kaysersberg-Vignoble), the Meyer-Krumb family is taking up the challenge of helping you discover perfect pairings between Alsace white wines and local cheeses, to the delight of your taste buds!
Aurélie, a winemaker's daughter, in partnership with a Fréland farmer, now knows all there is to know about munsters and other hard cheeses.
After a visit to the cellar, it's in the intimate setting of the family cellar that she'll serve you her Grands Crus paired with tommes from our mountains.
She has succeeded in creating a subtle balance between her estate-aged wines and the cheeses of the Kaysersberg valley.
Gewurztraminer and Riesling, paired with the cheeses, will dazzle both novice tasters and more experienced palates with an explosive combination of aromas on the palate.
