Heritage Days at the Toy Nave Museum

Heritage Days at the La Nef des Jouets museum on Saturday September 21, 2024 and Sunday September 22, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. - 50 years ago: the first Playmobil®" exhibition Playmobil® are back at the Nef des Jouets in Soultz, with Frédéric ROY and Eddy BARROIS, passionate collectors of the little German figurine. For the occasion, they are presenting several dioramas on various themes, including two very imposing ones outside the showcases: space (Playmospace), the Middle Ages, public works, the Far West, the circus, the fire department... On display are over 800 references and some 30 prototypes from 1974 (when Playmobil® first arrived in France) to the end of the 1980s. Sunday, September 22, 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm: the collector will be on hand all afternoon for a guided tour of the exhibition. - Le chemin de fer à Soultz" exhibition: 1/22.5 scale train layout (garden trains) Jean-Jacques STUDER, Soultz collector and passionate model-maker, will present an animated diorama of the railway network in Soultz and the surrounding area in the 1950s. The journey will start in the Buhlfeld district, at the gatekeeper's house, and lead to the freight station and Soultz station, before continuing to the gatekeeper's houses in Issenheim and Raedersheim. - Kamishibai reading and book signing - Sunday September 22 from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Speaker : Manon Zinck Dambach "Hafele et Storichele Manon Zinck recounts the kamishibai "Hafele et Storichele à la recherche du deckele" (Hafele and Storichele in search of the deckele) published in August by MK67. At the end of the reading, there's a chance to buy a signed children's album or "Hafele and Storichele" cuddly toys. The story: at the Christmas market in Strasbourg, Hofele the little pot from Betschdorf is very sad. He's lost his lid! Fortunately, Storichele, the stork, finds him and takes him on a journey across Alsace to find the lost lid. Their journey takes them to some of Alsace's most emblematic landmarks, where some very friendly animals try to help them in their quest. They'll meet a mouse at Mont Saint Odile, a frog at La Petite Venise in Colmar, a monkey at Haut-Koenigsbourg, a bulldog in Soufflenheim and more... - Mini-exhibition "Martine, a 70-year-old girlfriend!" Remember her? Martine has rocked generations of little readers since her first adventure in 1954! Over 120 million books sold in French, 50 million in foreign languages! Les Gilbert Delahaye's texts, superbly illustrated by Marcel Marlier, have made Martine the most popular heroine of our childhood. So it was fitting to celebrate her birthday and give her a knowing wink.
