A show written, composed and directed by Fred Radix, with Alice Noureux, Guillaume Collignon and Fred Radix. For this new creation, Fred Radix proposes a musical and humorous play, which tells the story of the claque in the theatre, those people hired to start the applause of a play or an opera.November 1865. Auguste Levasseur, a claque leader, creates the successes and failures of the plays of the time. However, on the eve of the premiere of a new show, he finds himself abandoned by his claque. He hires a musician from the orchestra to accompany him and sends the theatre manager to find makeshift replacements to try to save the evening's performance. By interpreting extracts from the show, which comprises no less than five acts, forty musicians and thirty set changes, they have to make these novice clappers rehearse! There are only three of them and they only have an hour and a half to do it... Tonight, their career is one slap away from success!
