A show by the Compagnie du Néant, written and directed by Alice Raingeard, with Marion Champenois, Boris Ravaine and Alice Raingeard.Alice Raingeard has adapted several tales by Hans Christian Andersen: The Snow Queen, The Emperor's New Clothes, The Matchmaker and The Princess and the Pea. When the author arrives in Copenhagen at the age of 14, he has a lot of ambition and a heavy family history to carry with him. In his head, his ambition, fantasy and reason are fighting to decide which paths to take for his future. And they help him, in their own way, with a lot of good will and awkwardness, to escape from the present time through beautiful stories. Sometimes dreary and sad like the cold grey winter sky, sometimes funny and childlike like a sweet little candy for the little ones: "Andersen!" tells the story of his life. The story takes place in an old attic, where thanks to a modular and evolving scenography, and thanks to shadow work that is reminiscent of Andersen's "cut paper" technique, we will be totally immersed in his universe. From 6 years old.
