Conference: the orchids of Alsace

Damien MARTINAK, a technician in green spaces, passionate about botany and an experienced naturalist photographer, is the author and co-author of several books devoted to orchids. From the banks of the Rhine to the highest peaks of the Vosges, Alsace is home to more than 50 species of orchids. This conference will allow you to learn how to recognise them, understand the incredible mechanisms they have developed to attract pollinating insects and where to find them... The presence of orchids in vineyards will be discussed. This event is part of the 70th anniversary of the Alsace Wine Route.
