80th anniversary of the liberation of the Colmar Pocket: the Freedom Parade

The Freedom Parade will be made up of Second World War military vehicles tracing the path of the liberators in the Colmar Pocket. It will leave from the Colmar Exhibition Centre at around 9am on Saturday 1 February and will visit no fewer than 25 towns and villages. All the communes of the Colmar Agglomération will be crossed, as well as Windensolen, Urschenheim, Grussenheim, Ammerschwihr and Sigolsheim (Kaysersberg Vignoble), which were also hard hit during the fighting in the Poche de Colmar. The parade will end its journey through the streets of Colmar on Sunday 2 February after the official ceremony. More than sixty vehicles will make up this exceptional parade. You can wave and cheer as the convoy passes through the various communes!
