Workshop: the hartmannswillerkopf educational archaeological trenches
The workshop focuses on construction during the war in the central mountains, the experiences of the combatants and daily life on the Vosges front (1914-1918). The participants, who take on the role of archaeologists, use excavation techniques to discover, describe and document objects by placing them in their geographical and historical context, helped by the visit to the Historial.
