Concert - Lux and Pax
A cappella concert by the Allegro Vocal Ensemble of Strasbourg.
The chosen works will evoke and invoke Light and Peace with all the force of their symbolism: light, source of life, infinite light which is constantly renewed, divine light illuminating those who believe in its Strength; light of the spirit
as a source of intelligence, a light of hope when it shines at the end of the darkness.
And then all these lights concentrated in a single and powerful ray, the one which should always light the path leading to Peace.
On the program are works by Gustav Holst, Francis Poulenc, Ola Gjielo, Eriks Esenvalds, Erik Whitacre, among others and some traditional Christmases.
