" Come and discover a superb Romanesque chapel which is worth a stop. The setting is charming; next to the chapel is a medieval garden that looks like a haven of coolness, a pretty fountain springs up in the heart of a pink sandstone stone… "
The Chapel is characterised by its XIth century style construction in the shape of a cross with the tower situated at the point where the two parts meet. Its XIIth century perpendicular gallery porch (the only one of its kind in Alsace) contains the two original entrances to the chapel whose charnel house of unknown origin is famous. There is a small garden in the medieval style. The aromatic, medicinal, kitchen and ornamental plants, including some old roses, are laid out in squares and triangles surrounded by trellis and box borders. In the middle of the garden you can discover water flows gently from a pink sandstone rock.
