Point de rencontre : Le Rêve de Sarkis (Contemporary artwork)

First public art commission, carried out in 1993 in Sélestat by Sarkis. Sélestat then had three hundred and nine streets. It was therefore necessary to align so many blue enamel plates on the wall. So much more a few, to honor the future extension of the city. They carry fragments of texts, extracts of poems, a few words to trigger the dream. Opposite, blank plates and two red neon wings overlook the Ill and are reflected in the water of the river, as a final additional incentive to jump into the imagination.
