Stone, whether it was worked by glaciers, Celts, Romans or even by winegrowers, marks out these discovery routes in unusual forms and gives the wines of this terroir their very special aromas. Stones, low walls and walls, castles and winegrowers' houses all bear witness to the history that marks out the route where the walker can admire the exceptional panorama of the Alsace plain and be surprised by unusual landscapes... In the shadow of the Ortenbourg castle, an emblematic granite silhouette, the communes of Dieffenthal, Scherwiller and Châtenois offer 15 points of discovery spread over three itineraries, close to prestigious tourist sites such as the Haut-Koenigsbourg castle. Stone and vine live side by side, intermingle and feed off each other.
