Concert : Punky Tunes & Sweatpants Party

Formed in 2021, Selestadian quintet Punky Tunes quickly made a name for themselves with their energetic shows featuring covers of Nofx, Rancid, Offspring, Interrupters, Bad Religion, Pennywise, 7 Seconds, SOIA, Kid Dynamite and Turnstile. The band quickly moved on to compositions mainly influenced by the skate-punk and HxC scenes. True to their ‘anti-facist, pro-feminist, animal friendly, LGBT+, earth protection and DIY’ values, the band never forgets the fun that built the spirit of melodic punk rock in the 90s.

Sweatpants Party is a punk rock band from Innsbruck in Tyrol, Austria. The band was the brainchild of Heavy Kevy (The Apers, Insanity alert, Monster Zero), who had fun playing songs in the tradition of The Ramones, The Queers and Screeching Weasel. After playing around with friends in a basement, the band played their first gig on 1 April 2019 and have remained semi-active ever since. In the summer of 2022, Sweatpants Party released their self-titled debut album, distributed worldwide in collaboration with Monster Zero (Austria), Guerilla Asso (France) and Dumb Records (Japan). The varied line-up includes members of Jagger Holly, 7 Years Bad Luck, Igerl, Riccobellis, Stockkampf, Drunken Dolly, The 20 Belows and The Hitchcocks, guaranteeing energetic and festive performances.
