The architectural and cultural heritage of Westhoffen is remarkable. The "open-air museum" is an ancient building with a typical architecture of large stone and half-timbered houses, various religious buildings such as a Gothic, neo-gothic church and a neo-synagogue -orientalist, and imposing ramparts. Until the 19th century, Westhoffen counted one of the largest and oldest Jewish community in Alsace. From this community are born some illustrious figures and families (DEBRE family, Léon BLUM, Alexandre MILLERAND).
