The Saint-Étienne Church

A jewel of neoclassical architecture in Alsace, the Catholic Church of Saint-Etienne was built at the end of the 18th century. Inspired by ancient art, Salins de Montfort's design aimed for sence of spaciousness. The monumental façade, graced by 4 Doric columns, features statues of Saint Odile and Saint Arbogast. The Romanesque belfry, conserved from the previous church, dates from the late 13th century.
