" An invitation to a country walk in a relaxing environment, far from the hustle and bustle between Bischoffsheim and Obernai! "
Between the end of March and mid-April, the cherry trees are the first to open the ball of the spring of the flowering trees. On the Bischoffsheim side, the plots of land wind along paths open to all. A few benches or rocks allow you to rest and savour the moment under the cherry trees in flower.
At the crossroads of the paths, there are some exceptional views of the Alsace plain and, in good weather, Strasbourg cathedral and the Black Forest in Germany.
This circuit leads to a remarkable site known since 1505, the Bischenberg convent, with just beside it, the Way of the Cross with its fourteen chapels, the oldest in the region.
A nice place to take a picnic!
