All about wine

The Unterlinden Museum offers a wine and culture tour on 4 dates from 23 April to 22 October to discover its collections from an original angle: vines and wine. Alongside a guide, travel through the different eras and artistic styles, noticing the traces and symbols of wine in the works on display. Admire an Athenian drinking cup, hanaps and drinking glasses from the 16th and 17th centuries, the "saint vinage" of Issenheim, the Alsatian wine cellar, and more.
After the tour, enjoy a tasting of several wines of Alsace in the Louis Hugot room. One of the four Colmar wineries invited for the different dates of the event will share with their know-how and passion for wine. Experience the aromas, flavours, and characteristics of the wines while chatting with the winegrower.

Celebrating wine

Colmar hosts several festive wine events all throughout the year. Don't miss the second stage of Alsace Rocks! The Tour of Terroirs on 30 April 2023 in Wintzenheim.

In Wintzenheim, Grand Cru Hengst and Pinot Noir are in the spotlight. Pinot Noir, Alsace Grand Cru Hengst, is one of the two new grape varieties recognised in the Grand Cru appellation since 2022. This elegant and complex red wine is an expression of Alsace's rich terroir.

Come experience a unique event halfway between a festival and a tour of tastings. There’s a pop-up bar serving exclusively local wines, alternative tastings, culinary demonstrations, and fun and educational introductions to wine, all in a musical atmosphere with a group of DJs and a chill & lounge area.
