An embassy of Alsace's Independent Winegrowers

The Syndicat des Vignerons Indépendants d'Alsace (SYNVIRA) is a partnership of 440 Alsatian winegrowers. They cultivate their vines, transform their grapes into wine, and sell it with pride.

The SYNVIRA has opened a shop on Place Gutenberg in the heart of Strasbourg.
An embassy of Alsace’s Independent Winegrowers, there are of course 375 wines of Alsace to discover, but visitors can also meet the winegrowers and take part in events and activities to learn more about the terroirs and philosophies of the members.

A venue steeped in history

The shop presents both the products and know-how of the Independent Winegrowers of Alsace in one of Strasbourg's oldest stone buildings, dating back to the 16th century as the commercial centre of Strasbourg. The Hôtel Consulaire Neubau on Place Gutenberg has returned to its mercantile roots 242 years later.
