Festival les mardis de l'orgue Merklin - Choir and Organ

Offered by the Association Les Amis de l'orgue Merklin, as part of Mardis de l'Orgue Merklin, every 15 days from June 27 to August 22, 2023. With the Chœur de Namur (Belgium) MUSIQUE ETERNELLE, conducted by José DORVAL, with Roland LOPES at the organ. The 'Musique Eternelle' Chamber Choir, created in January 2022 by José Dorval, is a 4-voice mixed vocal ensemble whose repertoire is based exclusively on sacred music 'a capella', sometimes accompanied by organ, piano or string quartet. The ensemble's program is stylistically eclectic. Roland LOPES, Organist, studied organ and harpsichord with A. Stricker, J.P. Rey and É. Gélis at the conservatories of Strasbourg and Mulhouse. He has received invaluable advice from J. Boyer, M. Bouvard, L. Thiry, J.W. Jansen, H. Vogel and B. Foccroulle during courses and masterclasses. Roland Lopes is also involved in several associations and organ conservation.
