The Association Les Amis de l'Orgue Merklin invites you to an organ recital with Roselyne KOENIGUER, titular of the great organ at Strasbourg's Saint-Pierre-le-Jeune collegiate church. She trained at the Conservatoire National de Région de Strasbourg, where she obtained the Certificat de Fin d'Etudes in piano in Fabienne Matz's class, then a Médaille d'Or à l'unanimité avec les félicitations du jury in organ and the Diplôme d'Etudes Musicales, in the classes of Marc Schaefer and Daniel Maurer. She also studied harmony, accompaniment, analysis and music history; At the same time, she pursued scientific studies and obtained the university diploma of "Director of Sound" (Tonmeister) at the PRIMUS center, at the Marc Bloch University in Strasbourg. She gives concerts as a soloist, or as an accompanist, in chamber ensembles or with continuo. She accompanies numerous choirs, both on piano and organ. She plays regularly with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Strasbourg. She also performs at the Opéra du Rhin. Her skills as an accompanist led her to take on the role of coach for the Petits Chanteurs de Strasbourg - Maîtrise de l'Opéra National du Rhin for 18 years. She has given concerts throughout France, as well as in Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, England, the Czech Republic and Russia. A "jack of all trades" musician, as she defines herself, curious about new encounters and discoveries, she is at ease in a vast repertoire. She teaches piano and organ.
