Offered by the Association Les Amis de l'orgue Merklin, as part of Mardis de l'Orgue Merklin, every 15 days from June 27 to August 22, 2023. With Viktoria SZILVASY (Hungary) on violin, Andras RUDOLF on viola and Daniel PANDOLFO on organ. Viktoria SZILVASY was born into a family with rich musical traditions. She studied at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest. She founded the Hungarian String Trio, with whom she gives numerous chamber music concerts and has recorded many CDs. András RUDOLF, violist, is a graduate of the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest. As a soloist, he has made several recordings for radio, television and on CD. Winner of the Bartók-Pásztory prize, he was awarded the Golden Cross of Hungarian Merit in 2022. At the age of fourteen, Daniel Pandolfo became titular organist of the Chapelle Saint-Clément in Metz (Chapelle des Jésuites); he has made several recordings on the Obernai organ and other organs in Alsace. Honorary citizen of the town of Scarperia (Tuscany) for his involvement in the cultural life of the region, he is titular of the great Merklin organ of the church of Saints-Pierre-et-Paul in Obernai, and artistic director of the international festival "Les Mardis de l'orgue Merklin".
